Important — Potential Charges A charge of £250.00 + VAT may be raised in either of the following circumstances:
  • Faulty equipment or internal wiring — if the fault is found to be on the customer side of the network rather than within the Openreach network.
  • Failed or missed appointment — if the engineer attends but cannot gain access, or no one is available at the agreed time. Please ensure someone is on site for the full duration of the selected slot.
An engineer typically attends the next working day if the fault is reported before 3pm.
